stormy love

Ok so I am aware that I am mental. I'm really ok with that. So Mum bought me this thing a while ago that she thought was a beanie, but it's actually a tea cosy. So featured here is me wearing said tea cosy as a beanie with my hair pulled through the holes. HA. I am so very very lame. And was on the biggest sugar high. These photos are just from my sister-in-laws birthday dinner that we had tonight. So much good food :)
 Eddie - rad dog :)

 Tablecloth designs.
And once again, proof that I am insane... Hahaha.

Well my loves it is beginning to storm and I have to get up early, so off to bed with me. Have wonderful dreams and smiling filled days this week!!!

Driving through the clouds

What a beautiful time to be going on a drive through the mountains. :) This is Mt Glorious on the way to Jollys Lookout.

Here is the views through the front of the car and out my window :)

Dogs and Prostesting

Protesting in the city and my crazy ass dog. He sat like that on Dad for about 10mins! Mind you, when he jumped up there, Dad was asleep! Haha. Not the most appealing way to be woken up... Trust me, Eddie is a heavy dog!!!!

Oh Esther...

This is what happens when you work at Starbucks for too long...

Bert.

This is Bert...

He is my new friend that will be photobombing a lot of my photos and he just got his ticket to come to Japan with me. AND he is helping his real life buddies in the wild just by being with me! [as in, we bought him from the people who are supporting the Orangutan's in the wild]

Here, as you can see, he is just hanging out on my lamp which is conveniently placed in front of my itinerary for Tokyo :) Welcome to the family Bert!

Lazy Day Sunday

A most beautiful day today. Spent the day with Mum at the Green Heart Fair at the park across the road, and we ate dagwood dogs and drank homemade ginger beer *YUM*!!!!!! and just generally enjoyed being in the sun. Then we came home and had a BBQ lunch with the Father on what continued to be a lovely afternoon. Ahhh perfection.

Above (left) you can see the view from where I was sitting at the table for lunch, and (right) the beautiful clear blue sky and sun that was with us today. :)

RAINBOW!

And finally this weekend! Well... It kinda began on Thursday when Alexis, Mathew and myself got a little bit tiddly at the Vic at 3 in the afternoon. And then was followed by eating steak and then I went to see Naturally 7 (supported by Idea of North!) AND THEY WERE ALL SO FREEKING AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe how freakishly amzing they are!!!!
Anyway, here is Alexis after we found the torch on Mat...
And here is Idea of North...
Annnnnnnnnnnd this is Naturally 7...
OMG it's making me happy just watching these!!!!!!!

And finally today I used my Harry Potter vanilla cake mix and made RAINBOW CUPCAKES!!! (as one friend pointed out - even my cupcakes are fag haggy LOL) and they are delish!!! I haven't iced them yet, but I think I'll leave that till tomorrow for when I take them to the tupperware party I'm going to.
I can't believe it's only Saturday and I've had such a fantastic weekend!!!! Wine and lazing about last night (aka watching the Royal Wedding - ps what a lameo kiss...), woke up early today and have baked muffins, am going for drinks with my "girls" later and then am going to the tupperware party tomorrow. *sigh* perfect.

Easter and Budda

So even though I did put up some photos from dinner on Easter Sunday, I found one that I forgot that was from breakfast at my brothers place from Easter. Omg amazing pancakes!!! Which just ps were made from a Harry Potter pancake mix. HAHA. Love it! (the rainbow cupcakes to be featured later were also a HP mix. I'm a nerd and I'm ok with that!). Added to these pancakes were chopped up Easter Eggs! Oh Lordy they were amazing! Especially when eaten with maple syrup!! Delish!!!!

Also, at Southbank at the moment they are setting up for the Budda Festival - a great thing to see if you are around Brisbane when it's on! And Southbank looks amazing with all the lanterns everywhere! So pretty!
